Fulham's Boa Morte & Benfica's Nuno Gomes Fit For Portugal's Angola Opener

Portugal have announced that both Fulham striker Luis Boa Morte and Benfica's Nuno Gomes have recovered from their minor injuries and will feature in theri opening World Cup match against Angola in Köln on June 11.

The pair missed the recent friendly warm-up matches against Cape Verde Islands and Luxembourg due to slight injuries.

"We have no muscle injuries, no players with muscle complaints," the Portugal team doctor Henreque Jones revealed to a news conference on Monday.

"The preventative programme for injuries has worked up until now. We are very pleased with that."

Portugal and Angola have been drawn in Group D in the World Cup Finals, alongside Mexico and Iran.
