Premiership side Fulham FC have signed Swedish striker Björn Runström from Stockholm club-side Hammarby IF, with Fulham manager Chris Coleman expecting the Swedish Under-21 international forward to make a big impact on The Premiership.
Cottagers boss Chris Coleman is delighted with the signing of the 22-year-old former Bologna and Chievo striker, who has been with Hammarby for nearly two years, and who secured his move on Wednesday for a fee reported to be in the region of £700,000.
Coleman, speaking on Fulham’s official website said: “I believe that Bjorn will be another great prospect for the future for Fulham.”
“We are committed to not only challenging for a top 10 spot this term but also to building for the future and I think that Bjorn will be another one to watch.
“He has exceptional levels of stamina and gives the opposition defence little time for rest or composure, because of his hard work and commitment.”
