French Football Federation Plans Four International Friendly Warm-ups In Preparation for Germany World Cup 2006
The French Football Federation (FFF) announced that the team would take on Slovakia at the Stade de France on March 1 and play three other games between May 27 and June 8. The four international friendly games will take place in the context of France's preparation for the 2006 Germany World Cup.
France is playing its first match in the World Cup Finals against Switzerland on June the 13th. Togo and the Korea Republic will be the next opponents of the French national football team. The squad will settle at the Aerzen bei Hameln in Lower Saxony, where their headquarters for the World Cup Soccer tournament will be based.
As they did before the 1998 World Cup and the Euro 2000 glories, the French will spend five days at the ski resort of Tignes in the Alps from May 22nd to the 26th.
