France Midfielder Robert Pires To Leave Arsenal For Spanish Side Villareal

Spanish Primera Liga side Villareal have claimed that they are close to confirming a deal with Arsenal for French midfielder Robert Pires.

The French star is out-of-contract at Arsenal and it had already been expected that Pires would be leaving in the summer.

The French international, who lifted the World Cup in France '98 is expected to sign a two year deal at the Madrigal.
