France Likely To Miss Injured Arsenal Striker Thierry Henry For Trip to Lithuania For Euro 2008 Qualifier
France are likely to miss their captain Thierry Henry for the trip to Lithuania for their UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier on March 24, after the Arsenal striker picked up stomach muscle and groin injuries in the Champions League aggregate loss to PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium, north London, on Wednesday night.
The Les Bleus can however afford to travel without the star Gunners forward as they are top of Group B with nine points the same as Scotland.
Henry, who came in as a substitute in the 66th minute, picked up two fresh strains in what proved to be a woeful night for Arsene Wenger’s side.
Wenger said: "He has torn his stomach muscle and his groin and will be out for a few weeks. It is sad for him - he's had a very difficult season."
