Former England, Chelsea and Southampton Striker Peter Osgood Dies At The Age Of 59.

Former England, Chelsea and Southampton striker Peter Osgood has died at the Age of 59.

Osgood suffered a heart attack this morning while attending a family funeral, and the former striker passed away early this afternoon after being rushed to hospital.

Peter Osgood made 560 appearances for Chelsea and Southampton as well as playing for England. In this time he scored 220 goals over a career that lasted over 16 years.

He retired from football in 1979.
