Finland beat Kazakhstan while Portugal were held to a draw by Armenia in the Group A Euro 2008 qualifiers on Wednesday. Estonia defeated Andorra in Group E.
In Yerevan, Armenia and Portugal drew 1-1. Both goals came in the first half.
The home side led with 12th minute goal from Robert Arzumanyan until Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equaliser in the 37th minute.
Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur’s Teemu Tainio scored the winner for Finland to win at Tampere after both sides were tied 1-1 at half time.
Eremenko Jr had given the home side lead in the 13th minute while Byakov equalised for the Kazakhs 10 minutes later.
Tainio scored the winner for Finland in the 61st minute as he drilled in substitute Daniel Sjolund's right-wing corner from six metres out.
In a Group E encounter, Estonia got the better of Andorra 2-1. They led 1-0 at half time after Piiroja found the target in the 34th minute in Tallinn. Silva equalised for Andorra in the 87th minute only to see Zelinski to score the winner in injury time.
