Estonia v England Line-ups – Liverpool’s Crouch & Newcastle’s Owen Start, Carragher On Bench, Reading’s Shorey Out

Liverpool’s Peter Crouch and Newcastle United’s Michael Owen shoulder England’s attacking responsibility in the crucial Group E qualifier against Estonia in Tallinn on Wednesday.

Steve McClaren’s men are fourth in the group with 11 points from six games behind leaders Croatia on 16. Russia and Israel are on 14 points with the latter having played seven games.

The Reds centre-back Jamie Carragher has been put on the substitutes’ bench with his place in the starting XI taken by Man United’s Wes Brown.

Reading’s Shorey has been replaced by Chelsea’s Wayne Bridge, who recovered from his hip problem.
