England's International Friendly Against Hungary To Be Played At Old Trafford Instead Of Wembley

England's World Cup warm-up friendly against Hungary will now be played at Manchester United's Old Trafford on Tuesday May 30.

The game against Hungary was meant to be the first international friendly to be played at the new Wembley stadium, but the stadium construction has been delayed and the game against Hungary has now been re-located to the 70,000+ capacity Old Trafford stadium in Manchester.

Wembley was meant to be ready in time for the FA Cup final on May 13, but the Australian stadium construction firm Multiplex, who are in charge of the construction of the new national stadium, have hit major problems and it will now be late Autumn before the stadium is opened.

It also means that England's first two Euro 2008 qualifiers will not be played at Wembley.
