A perfect crossing pass from England Captain Michael Owen was met perfectly by Frank Lampard who volleyed it past the Poland and Celtic keeper Artur Boruc, who has been performing spectacularly well for the visitors so far in this match.

Michael Owen opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, deflecting home a strike from Joe Cole, but Poland drew level minutes later from a wonderful strike from Poland's Frankowski.

Latest score: England 2-1 Poland.
