The England squad has been named by Three Lions head coach Sven Goran Eriksson to face Belarus on Thursday evening in a World Cup warm-up international friendly at Reading FC's Madejski stadium.

Sven Goran Eriksson has said that he will be playing Bayern Münich midfielder Owen Hargreaves in the right-back position, so that he can evaluate both Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Jenas and Michael Carrick in midfield.

Newcastle United's Michael Owen has been named as captain for the World Cup warm-up friendly match, with Arsenal's teenage sensation Theo Walcott starting on the bench.
