England, Poland & Croatia Join Marco Van Bastens Dutch 'Oranje' In World Cup Qualification
England, Poland and Croatia have all gained qualification for next summers World Cup Finals, thanks to a Dutch win against fellow Europe Zone Group 1 rivals, the Czech Republic.
With the result of Wednesday's Group 6 match now irrelevant, Poland and England now have the luxury of knowing that whatever the result, both teams will be in Germany next June.
With the Dutch win this means England's Group 6, and Croatia's Group 8 are both guaranteed automatic qualification from their groups as best runners-up.
The Netherlands secured their own berth in the World Cup Finals with a 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in their Group 1 encounter in the Toyota Arena in Prague, and in doing so have assured their spot as winners of Group 1, and entry to next summers World Cup Finals in Germany.
