England & Manchester United Striker Wayne Rooney Injured In Match V Chelsea - Serious Blow For Three Lions

England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been seriously injured in Saturday's Premiership match between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The talented striker was stretchered off in the 82nd minute of the match after badly injuring his leg.

He was immediately taken to hospital, where the extent of the injury can be established.

This is a major blow for Sven Goran Eriksson's England, who also missed the presence of Rooney in Euro 2004 in Portugal where he suffered a similar injury.
