England head coach Steve McClaren has named his 28-man squad for The Three Lions' international friendly against Spain at Old Trafford on Wednesday February 7. It will be the first England senior match of 2007, and an important part of the preparation for the crucial Euro 2008 qualifiers, with The Three Lions facing both Israel and Andorra in March. Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson has been given his first senior call-up after an excellent start to the 2006/07 season, with skipper John Terry named, but unlikely to feature. Joey Barton is in line to make his England debut against Spain next week after also earning his first call-up.
