England have beaten Hungary 3-1 in their international friendly World Cup warm-up match at Old Trafford.

England's Three Lions captain David Beckham set-up the first two goals to give England the lead against the visitor's in their international friendly match.

The game went into half-time with the scores level at 0-0, but just two minutes after the restart, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard got the scoring going with a stunning header from a Beckham free-kick from the right-wing to give England a 1-0 lead.

Just four minutes later, the England captain delivered an identical ball, from the other side of the pitch, to Chelsea's John Terry to head in for Eriksson's side and make it 2-0.

Hungary were transformed after the two goals, and came back in the game with a quite sensational strike from skipper Pal Dardai after England lost their concentration at the back and gifted their rivals too much space.

The Hungary captain drove a blisteringing strike past England keeper Paul Robinson to make it 2-1 in the 55th minute.

But Liverpool striker Peter Crouch scored the decisive goal with a beautiful shot-on-the-turn in the 83rd minute to give England the win.
