Former England captain and deposed Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham is keen to leave for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy as soon as possible, than wait for the end of the season when his Real contract runs out.

“David is keen to come sooner to LA,” Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber told Spanish sports daily Marca on Monday.

Beckham is believed to be seeking an early release from his contract with Real Madrid after coach Fabio Capello alongwith the technical team, have barred him from being a part of their plans for the rest of the season, although he has been allowed to train with the Real squad.

“I understand that David's lawyers are working to secure a possible amicable exit from Real because we would not be able to pay the buy-out clause,” Garber added.

“We want to him to have it as soon as possible so the league and the Galaxy are doing everything (to seek his escape route).”
