Czech Republic Keeper Petr Cech Receives Injury In Chelsea's Premiership Encounter V Everton
Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech has received an injury in Chelsea's Premiership encounter with Everton on Sunday.
The Czech goal-stopper limped off at half-time after clashing with England striker James Beattie, as he was coming out to make a save from the England hopeful.
Cech injured his right shin and needed stitches on the gash in his shin. He was replaced by Italian goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini, who has consistently been kept out of the Chelsea first-team by the talented Czech.
The extent of the injury is still unclear, but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping that Cech will be able to feature in next weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
