Czech international Jan Koller signaled that he will probably be ready for action soon, relieving Dortmund coach Bert van Marwijk and Czech Republic coach Karel Bruckner.

"My recovery is going strictly according to plan," said Koller.

"The doctors must first of all say that my health is 100 per cent, but I believe that at the end of May I will be fit to play in the World Cup."

The Czech striker has been missing action since September, after suffering a knee injury, while hopes of recovering and returning to action this season had been so minimal that Bruckner did not include him in his plans.

He was injured during a Borussia Dortmund German Bundesliga clash with Mainz.
