Costa Rica Striker Roy Miller Left Out of Guimares World Cup Finals Squad

Costa Rica coach Alexandre Guimaraes named his squad for the World Cup 2006 Finals in Germany.

Costa Rica play in the opening match of the tournament against hosts Germany. Guimaraes told reporters that he left Roy Miller out due to "tactical reasons" but said that instead he picked Paulo Wanchope, who is considered among the country's best talents in football.
