Costa Rica coach Alexandre Guimaraes got three extra headaches after the end of yesterday's training session, with his first choice goalkeeper Jose Porras complaining about muscle pains.

The news adds up to midfielder Mauricio Solís and defender Gilberto Martínez worries, who are also complaining about muscle pains.

"Until yesterday, we had a fully healthy team but after the training session those three players reported muscle pains, so we have to wait and see how they evolve. Maybe they are recurrences of old injuries," Gerardo Artavia, a spokesman from Costa Rica's medical team said.

"This isn't like a cooking recipe which tells you when the dish will be ready... This depends on the individual evolution of each player, so we will make a decision in time."

Commenting about the possible replacement for the team's first-choice goalkeeper, Artavia said that "Mesen is only 90 percent recovered but I think he would be able to play if Guimaraes needs him."
