Chelsea, who beat Manchester United 1-0 in extra-time to lift the FA Cup, start the match with new signing Tal Ben Haim pairing Ricardo Carvalho in the central defence as skipper John Terry nurses his toe injury.

Ashley Cole starts for The Blues, who also have new boy Florent Malouda in starting role.

Manchester United, who won the Premiership trophy last season, start with Mikael Silvestre, who had earlier reportedly expressed his displeasure on being left out from FA Cup final. Reports earlier claimed the Frenchman wasn’t featuring in today’s clash too.

New signing Nani is on substitutes’ bench for United.
