Chelsea Goalkeeper Petr Cech Undergoes Surgery On Both His Shoulders After Czech World Cup Exit

Chelsea FC's goalkeeper took advantage of the early Czech Republic exit from the World Cup 2006 tournament in Germany and opted to undergo surgery on both his shoulders.

Petr Cech was feeling pain throughout the tournament and was told that he needed to undergo surgery and treatment in order to sort the long-running problem.

Reuters is reporting that CTK quoted David Travnicek, who is Petr Cech's agent, as saying that the operation went through successfully and that it happened in London today.
