Brazil Manager Carlos Alberto Parreira Hints at Veteran Players to Help Brazil Lift the Sixth World Cup Trophy
The Brazilian coach spoke about his World Cup Squad plans, with Real Madrid's Ronaldo, Internazionale Milano's Adriano and AC Milan's Cafu are the key players in the squad which will try to break all records by winning the sixth trophy in their history.
Cafu is just two appearances away from having the most caps for the Brazilian national football team, a record currently held by Dunga and Taffarel. As he started feeling fit after recovering from a knee injury.
Carlos Alberto Parreira described both Cafu and Roberto Carlos as "experienced, not old", hinting that they will be in the starting lineup. "They will be starters (in the World Cup) because they have been playing well and are in good physical condition," Brazil's coach said in an interview.
The 63 years-old manager said that "Brazil will be prepared (from the beginning) to face anybody, but if the team doesn't improve during the tournament it won't win the title."
"We will be coming off a stage where you can lose but still advance... It will require a lot of responsibility."

This type of talk only gives hope to the other teams. I agree we have to respect the oposition but Parreira needs to be more assertive and give the message:
"We are the problem for the other teams. We are prepared to go all the way to the finals and win it."
There is no team in Germany that can stop Brazil. The only way for us to lose is owing to the money involed- a back room deal for Brazil to go to the final and them lose to a team such as Germany or stop at a semi-final with England
