Brazil 0-0 Ecuador Half-Time Copa America 2007 - Real's Robinho & Baptista Come Close, Félix Borja & Walter Avoyi For Ecuador

Brazil are level 0-0 at half-time against Ecuador in their final Copa América 2007 Group B Match against Brazil at the Stadium General Anzoátegui in Puerto La Cruz.

Ecuador goalkeeper Marcelo Ramón Elizaga made four excellent saves to deny the Seleçao, with Ecuador coming close themselves in the fist-half.

Brazil, as expected, had the majority of the possession in the opening half, with Robinho and Julio Baptista both having shots saved.

Félix Borja forced Brazil keeper Doni into action on a couple of occasions, with Walter Ayovi having a headed shot go over the crossbar as Ecuador began to get a grip of the game.

Ecuador goalkeeper Marcelo Ramón Elizaga made some world-class saves to keep Ecuador in the game, with him bravely blocking shots from both Wagner Love and Robinho.

Robinho came close to scoring for Brazil in the final minute of the first-half, but yet again Elizaga denied the Real Madrid star.

The first-half finished 0-0, with Brazil content with a draw, a result which assures the Seleçao qualification for the knockout stages of the tournament.
