Mexico head coach Ricardo Lavolpe has announced Mexico's starting lineup against Iran, with three forwards to start in Sunday's Group D match.

Mexico have been practicing in training with three strikers this past week – Mexico’s all-time record goalscorer Jared Borgetti from Bolton Wanderers in the centre of attack, flanked by Omar Bravo and Guillermo Franco with all three starters on Sunday in a three-pronged attack.
