Barcelona Deny Swap-Deal With Portugal's Deco For Chelsea's Frank Lampard

Barcelona have quoshed speculation regarding a swap-deal with Portugal midfielder Deco and Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard... (continued below)

The has been speculation that, with the recent signing of Germany captain Michael Ballack to Chelsea, Lampard is concerned over his first-team place and that Deco wanted to join-up with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho again, who he played under at Porto.

But, the Barcelona Director of Football has said: "Deco hasn't asked to leave us because he is very happy here. Besides, Lampard hasn't asked if he can come here either.

"We are convinced Deco is happy and there is no chance he will be leaving."
