Latest reports from Spain have claimed that Barcelona have sealed a transfer deal with Arsenal for France striker Thierry Henry, with the Arsenal skipper moving to the Camp Nou on a four-year deal.

Officials from Barcelona travelled to the capital on Thursday to seal the deal with The Gunners for the 29-year-old striker, who is reportedly moving to Spain for £16million (€23.75m).

The former AS Monaco and Juventus star has been a Barcelona transfer target for some time now and after eight years at the club Henry, who is Arsenal's top-scoring player, is said to be due to be unveiled as a Barcelona player on Monday.

Earlier this week, Arsenal's managing director Keith Edelman told Gunners manager Arsene Wenger that if can get a good enough deal for Henry, then he would not be stopped from doing so by the club’s board.

Henry's agent Jerome Anderson recently threatened legal action over reports that said he was negotiating the player’s move to Barcelona, but now leaked reports from Barcelona have confirmed that a four-year deal has now been agreed, with Henry signing a contract worth an estimated £110,000 per week.
