Theo Walcott tonight became the youngest player ever to represent England at full-international level when he came on after 65 minutes of England’s World Cup warm-up match against Hungary at Old Trafford, Manchester.

Making his senior-team debut at the tender age of 17 yrs and 75 days, he has surpassed the previous record held by Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.
