Argentina Coach Jose Peckerman has named 22 foreign-based players to join the Albicelestes squad for Argentina's World Cup South America Zone qualifiers, firstly at home to Peru on October the 9th, and away to Uruguay on October the 12th.

Gabriel Heinze, Javier Mascherano, Javier Saviola and Javier Zanetti have all sustained recent injuries, and all have been ruled out for the games against Peru and Uruguay, although their presence in the finals is almost undoubtable.

With the Albicelestes having already qualified for the World Cup Finals in Germany next year, it will give Coach Jose Peckerman a chance to try out the up and coming talent.

The home-based players, including a second goalkeeper, will be named in the next few days.
