Argentina head coach Alfio Basile has publicly criticised the organisers of the Copa América 2007, Venezuela over the scheduled kick-off time for Sunday's Copa América Final between Argentina and Brazil.
The Final of the Copa América 2007 kicks off on Sunday at 17.05pm local time in Maracaibo, in full daylight, with the temperature forecast to reach 35º C on Sunday afternoon, which has concerned the Albiceleste boss.
"I think it will be a slow game because of the time," said Basile. "In our country, it was below zero when we left to come here. It's not going to be an end-to-end match."
"The heat is incredible, it's 40 Celsius," added the the Albiceleste manager.
"In the evening, it's beautiful for playing football and it's better for the public because the game is played at a faster pace."
"I suppose this has to do with money, but the players would suffer less in the evening, they would develop their game better. It would be better for Brazil and Argentina," finished Basile.
