Andorra To Be England's First Opponents At New Wembley Stadium In European Championship Qualifier - First Game Without Sven
England will play their first match at the new Wembley Stadium against European minnows Andorra in England's first match for the Euro 2008 qualifying rounds.
Wembley's fist match was due to be in May against Hungary, with a further World Cup warm-up match against Jamaica scheduled to be played in May before the team travel to Germany.
But the opening of the stadium has been delayed, and it will now not be until September 2, when England face Andorra in their European Championship qualifier, that the Lions will walk out on to the hallowed Wembley turf.
This will also be the first match that England will play after the departure of current England coach Sven Goran Eriksson, who is leaving the role of England Head Coach after the World Cup Finals in Germany.
